AN INTRODUCTION TO INFORMATION SYSTEMS(IS)

In unit 0 I learned about the importance of information systems (IS), and all the details on creating a professional good-looking email. I thought it was going to be hard, but it was okay, I learned things that were not that complicated to learn but were very important. 

What I Did

• I explored the brightspace page, how LMSs communicate information throughout devices and systems.

• Defined terms like the waffle, CC, BCC on an email, and the hamburger menu.

• Created a professional email for my instructor 

• Created a professional signature file which makes an email look professional and organized

• I registered in SIMnet and completed a pre-test for essential SIMpath, and for outlook 

What I Learned 

• I learned about information system; which is a combination of hardware, software, data, people and processes. 

• I learned about discussions in brightspace, that there is no need to start a new threat on the discussion forum if someone already started that subject that was new to me, in my previous classes I made these mistakes.

• I know how to use Outlook because I took a pre-test a lesson and then a post-test.

• All about email, i can write a professional email, an email signature file, and know the difference between CC and BCC which was knew.
