With over 10 years in the minerals industry, I developed a vast skillset related to Exploration Geology and Remote Sensing. My experience includes project management, GPS navigation, field mapping in remote areas, geological modeling, and data QA/QC.
I recently started a new career in the geospatial/remote sensing industry and have skills in unmanned aerial vehicle photography, mapping, survey, and lidar data acquisition. This includes the data processing as well.
I possess a part 107 small unmanned aircraft certification from the FAA which allows me to fly drones commercially. I earned a Masters certificate in Geographic Information Systems from Elmhurst University. Medically, I hold a Wilderness First Responder and CPR certification through the NOLS organization.
I have advanced knowledge in all Microsoft Office programs, ArcGIS Pro and Online, acQuire database management software, Vulcan 3-D, and Micromine. I have currently been familiarizing myself with qgis as another option for data processing.
Along with a Bachelors degree in Geological Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth, I recently completed a certificate program in Geographic Information Systems from Elmhurst University. Some notable coursework includes Remote Sensing Technologies, and Geospatial Programming, where I learned the fundamentals of Python programming language.
