I have over 10 years of experience searching for hard rock minerals as an Exploration Geologist in the mining industry. Currently, I am focused on the geospatial industry as a Remote Sensing Technician/Drone Pilot collecting commercial data across many different sectors of the industry.
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Geological Sciences from the University of Minnesota Duluth, I moved out west in search of Gold and Silver via the minerals exploration and mining industry. From underground production with the majors, to greenfield exploration with the juniors, I have over a decade of economic geology experience in remote parts of Nevada, Utah, and Alaska.
A recently obtained Master’s Certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Elmhurst University has granted me access into the geospatial and remote sensing industry collecting and managing data from aerial platforms. In addition to many years of exploration geology, and GIS experience, I currently possess a part 107 certification from FAA to fly drones commercially for aerial surveying, mapping, lidar, and high resolution imagery.
