Welcome to my homepage! I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics  at IIT Kanpur. 

I have received my PhD. from  Institute of Mathematical Sciences (HBNI)  under the supervision of  Professor V. S. Sunder. 

Broadly speaking, I work with topics in C*-algebras and von Neumann algebras. More precisely, my work involves  Jones'  theory of subfactors and planar algebras. My research is supported by Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant (ANRF), Govt of India.

[Based in India throughout my academic career, my research has developed around operator algebras, subfactor theory, and quantum symmetries, with particular emphasis on inclusions of C*- and von Neumann algebras.]
