Welcome to my homepage! I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics  at IIT Kanpur. 

I have received my PhD. from  Institute of Mathematical Sciences (HBNI)  under the supervision of  Professor V. S. Sunder. 

Broadly speaking, I work with topics in C*-algebras and von Neumann algebras. More precisely, my work involves  Jones'  theory of subfactors and planar algebras. My research is supported by Prime Minister Early Career Research Grant (ANRF), Govt of India.

[[My research lies at the intersection of operator algebras and quantum symmetry. I study subfactors and planar algebras -- structures that encode symmetries arising in quantum physics and low-dimensional topology -- primarily within the framework of C*-algebras and von Neumann algebras. A central theme of my work is understanding how these symmetries can be classified, constructed, and used to reveal deeper algebraic and analytic structure. ]]
