While our presentation on Simple Machines was commendable, we recognize a couple of areas for improvement. Firstly, we focused on presenting information rather than actively engaging the class in learning. Secondly, we missed the opportunity to enhance our explanation with visual aids—such as photos—to illustrate the features of each component in our simple machine.
