An engineering notebook is a book in which an engineer can formally document, in chronological order, all of their work that is accossiated or related with a specific design project.
This is a check list where you can check what you have done for each page in your notebook so that when the teacher views it, it is designed neatly and efficiently so that the teacher understands and helps you with your work.Â
This is the table of contents that you need to add in your notebook. This helps show what the title of the project is, it shows which page number it is and when you started that certain project. For example, someone is trying to find the Line Conventions project, they can look at the title find the name then look at the page number it is and the date it was created to show you where it is and when you started.
This is, Line Conventions. I added the design or photos of my topic with glue, but before that I added the day I worked on it and added the Signature and Date I signed and also the witness signature and the day they signed it so you know that it was your work and it was checked by your colleague or your teacher. Then after the notes on the photos I also added my signature in between the photos to show you that I added to those photos to my notebook and to not remove or do anything with it.
This is the Unit of Introduction of Multi-View, there is a 3d object on the side of the paper and I created a flat layout of that 3d object on a graphing paper so that when I cut it out I can fold the flat layout into that 3d object. The hard part about it was imagining, like it was hard to draw a flat layout that you think would fold into the 3d object.
This is when you get a 3d object and you need to get the three different views which asre the Top, the Front, and the Right Side or Left Side. Each of these views represent or show how the object would look like if you would look at it from there. This gives you a whole new perspective on objects and how you look at them. Also when you are drawing the objects you need to create these thin/light construction line boxes so that when you put in your drawing it is aligned and matches with the others.
This is another object that is shows in three different views: The Top, The Front and The Left Side. This time the object is a house. Before you start though you need to get the measurements for the height, the width, and the depth in order to get the construction lines aligned. Also looking at the picture you can see that the top of the house point in the front view is used in the left side and we matched/aligned it so that they are the same. It's also the same thing with the left side and the top.
Here are two different objects drawn in their three different views and each one is each either challenging or easy for you. For example, the top one is a bit more simpler than the second one but still requires effort and thinking to get it done. However, the second picture requires all of that and for you to deal with circles and curves. Circes and curves are a bit hard to do and sometimes we do it perfectly and sometimes not but there is this method where you get the center of the circle, then get its four connecting points, then from the center make a diagonal line to the edge of the box then make 2 lines on that, then from there draw your cicle.
These are a whole new set of objects, and each one is challenging. For the top picture or also known as #16 is very tricky and hard, because you have to deal with the measurments of the circle, creating the circle, knowing the depth of the circle, knowing where to add the hidden lines for where there is a circle, but also it can be a bit tricky for the top view. Because you might not know if whether that top circle thing is covering the bottom line and that can decide what your drawing because you don't know if it's in the drawing or not and that can be hard to decide sometimes.
