Plan Management is when an NDIS Participant has Plan Management in their NDIS Plan. A Plan Manager looks after and managers all the plan managed funding in the NDIS Participants Plan and pays the invoices received for the services they receive. For more information go to What is Plan Management
What is Support Coordination?
Support Coordination helps you get the most out of your NDIS plan, so you can realise your potential and achieve your goals. Support Coordination can take the stress out of organising your supports. It is what the NDIS calls a ‘capacity building’ support – designed to give you the skills and confidence to handle this yourself in the future.
How much does Support Coordination cost?
If Support Coordination is part of your plan, then the cost of those services is covered by the NDIS. Not everyone is eligible for Support Coordination, so if you’re not sure if you qualify feel free to Contact Us and we are more than happy to look into that for you.
What are the benefits of Support Coordination?
Coordinating your supports can be complicated and time-consuming. Support Coordination makes this process easier by helping you to choose service providers, regularly review your supports and action your plan. It’s especially useful if you need to engage in lots of different service providers.
How do I sign up for Support Coordination?
Talk to your LAC at your planning meeting and they will be able to refer you to a Support Coordinator in your area. Also the provider finder on your NDIS Portal is very helpful and the NDIS website ndis.gov.au.
