C.Q.P. - Close Quarter Pistol Training

This class is designed to prepare students for the real world dynamics of sudden, violent confrontation and attacks. In the basic C.Q.P. class, you will learn how to STOP a sudden violent attack, by learning how to present your firearm from concealment as well as shot placement in order to stop a threat or multiple threats. You will also learn basic empty-hand self-defense, mindset, tactics, and extreme Close Quarter Pistol (C.Q.P.) techniques from a proven system. This class has a moderate physical difficulty level. Students should be capable of participating in 4 to 5 hours of defensive tactics to include footwork by shooting on the move. We can adapt the drill to meet your limitations. We keep our classes small.
What you will need when you come to class:
1) You Handgun of choice for concealed carry. Pocket pistols are great for a backup gun but should not
be considered for a primary carry. FBI uses 9mm and above 40 cal./45 cal.
2) A strong side carry holster: outside the waistband (OWB) or inside the waistband (IWB).
3) Total of 3 magazines.
4) Double mag pouch is preferred but a single will work.
5) Bring a snack and your choice of drinks. Water will be on hand for you.
6) Bring a conceal garment (Light Jacket or Long Shirt).
7) Come with a great mindset and a willingness to learn.
8) A total of 800 rounds of ammunition. You will be shooting A LOT!!P
9) Pack your lunch Seriously... bring lunch!!! Bring plenty of bottled Water!!
10) We train in the rain... dress for the weather that day... you will be on the ground!! Dress for the day!!!
Ammunition can be provided for you at cost. Please call 1 week in advance to allow us time to get your ammunition here before your class. Ammunition comes in 1000 Round Cases:

MEET THE INSTRUCTORS
Mr. Walters is a Carrying Concealed Deadly Weapons Trainer-Instructor, certified through the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice, Affiliate Firearms Instructor with the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), NRA Firearms Instructor In Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun, Personal Protection In the Home (PPITH), Personal Protection Outside The Home (PPOTH), NRA Chief Range Safety Officer and Refuse To Be A Victim Instructor. He holds Instructor credentials with the National Association of Concealed Carry Instructors (NACCI) as well as Professional Firearms Instructors of America Association (PFIAA). He has written his own curriculum for KY Carrying Concealed Deadly Weapons Curriculum approved by the Kentucky State Police. He is also Hunter Education Safety Instructor for KY Fish and Wildlife.
Mr. Pollack is a former Army Ranger with over 18 years of real world experience, as well as a Close Quarter Battle (C.Q.B) and Hostage Rescue Team (H.R.T.) Instructor. He is an avid shooter and competes in I.D.P.A., I.P.S.C., and 3-gun competitions (He is sponsored by CORBON, MAGTECH, and ZEV). He has trained numerous Military, FBI Cadets, and Law Enforcement. He is a Concealed Deadly Weapons Instructor certified by the KY Dept. of Criminal Justice.
