Knowledge of HC Environment

I decided to include this artifact about an essay I had to do in an Intro to the US Health care System course. Within this research paper I discussed the cost of care in the United States and how it affects the insured and uninsured Americans. This taught me how expensive healthcare is and how there are some people that are not able to afford it nor able to afford insurance. Due to this, it has caused certain Americans to not be able to afford healthcare within the United States.

I decided to include this artifact about an ethics debate assignment I did in my Leadership and Ethics course I took. This essay helped me learn more about medicaid and medicaid expansion in healthcare. It taught me how many people are able to receive medicaid, the benefits and who can not apply for medicaid. During this assignment it also taught me the advantages and disadvantages of medicaid expansion and how it can affect a state and the people.
