1. Career Talk: “Why Accounting? Opportunities You Didn’t Know Existed”
At this inspiring session, I spoke alongside Mr. Thuan Wen Jie, a First-Class Honours graduate in BSc Accounting & Finance from the University of London, an alumnus of Crescendo International College, and Audit Partner at WS & Co PLT.
We shared:
Practical study tips for academic excellence
Real-life experiences from university to professional practice
Exciting and lesser-known career opportunities in accounting and finance
Students left the session with a clearer vision of their future and the many possibilities in the field of accounting.
2. Accounting Internship Workshop
This workshop was specially designed for BSc Accounting & Finance students from the University of London.
The session focused on helping students prepare for internships by covering:
How to write strong resumes and cover letters
Smart application strategies
What employers look for during recruitment
Real-world insights into the hiring process
Students gained practical tools and greater confidence to start their internship journey successfully.
3. Career Talk: “Building a Career in Accounting: Pathways and Opportunities”
Organised at Crescendo International College, this engaging career talk brought together students eager to explore their future.
I shared the stage with Mr. Teng Kong Yang, Principal Partner of L & Co Accountants.
Together, we discussed:
Different career pathways in accounting
Industry trends and professional growth
Practical advice for long-term success
The session was interactive, inspiring, and filled with thoughtful questions from motivated students.
4. Student Engagement Session (in collaboration with ISCA)
In collaboration with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), we organised a student engagement session at Crescendo International College in 2025.
Together with Mr. Rushdan Rozlan, Country Manager (Malaysia) of ISCA, we introduced:

The ISCA Professional Programme
Career pathways to becoming a chartered accountant
Students from the University of London programmes, Foundation in Business, and Diploma in Business joined the session and gained valuable insight into professional qualification routes.
5. Exam Skills Workshop
The "Exam Skills Workshop" was designed to support BSc Accounting & Finance and BSc Business & Management students in preparing for their assessments.
Key focus areas included:
How to use digital exam platforms such as Inspera
How to avoid plagiarism through proper referencing and academic integrity
Effective exam writing and time management strategies
Students left the workshop better prepared, more confident, and equipped with practical techniques to perform at their best.
6. Industrial Training Workshop
I successfully organised the Industrial Training Workshop for University of London students, creating a supportive space for learning and career preparation.
