Motion Design Capstone Project - Peter Mac Patient Identification Procedure Video
No onto some more personal projects that demonstrate my specific skills:
All throughout my course I’ve had to put together mockups for various branding and advertising campaigns. They were a lot of fun and taught me how to present designs in real-world contexts!
A Digital Design project, I chose the word “Incandescent” out of the list and made 3 e-magazine covers expressing that word. All the photos used in these composites were taken by me.
I like the one in the middle with the neon alley best!
This one was made for Digital Video Compositing class. It’s supposed to be a promo for Upfest, the biggest Street Art festival in the world. It’s held in Bristol. I incorporated elements of the Bristol skyline along with graffiti art to capture the spirit of the festival.
We needed to make an “Exquisite Corpse” 3D animation that starts and ends with a diamond and themed after Flora and/or Fauna. So... I decided to interpret that as Flora VS Fauna, and did a whole Matrix-style bullet time fight!
Whoa!
This is a Slurpee ad made to be projected on a bunch of boxes. The whole thing is supposed to be a giant Slurpee machine/factory. This all creates an immersive brand experience.
This was made for Concepts & Narratives. They asked me to add in a message, so I came up with an appropriate global warming moral (Poor Penguins!)
The ending was based on old-school Newgrounds shock humour animations.
This was made for Digital Video Camera Techniques. I had an N64 Goldeneye 007-inspired watch, so I decided to use that as my subject! I’m particularly impressed with myself for using a howlaround effect (pointing a camera at itself with the subject in the middle, thus creating a visual “echo”) for certain portions. It’s a simple, yet clever effect!
Another thing made for Digital Video Camera Techniques. A Powerade ad! Used a water tank in this.
