I embrace being a designer as I've always been passionate about communicating visually. From this passion I have explored and learned various methods on how to accomplish communication by being curious in school, work, and life.
My curiosity extends beyond visual communication. I find value in applying questions to how things work and why do we do things a certain way. Incorporating this inquisitive nature into my designs, through observing and conducting design research, helps to ensure my creativity aligns with the impact I want to convey. A good example to illustrate my process is my thesis work that can be viewed here.
Being able to communicate is vital in so many aspects of life; whether it is words or pictures, it allows us to share information and learn from each other. Making sure that the form of communication is fitting and effective to create a connection is vital. I love finding the solution that makes the connection.
