Have a listen to "Unwritten" by Natasha Bedingfield. There's something about it that will inspire you to write YOUR unwritten story. It's a great song, one of my favorites!
KEEP CALM AND START THAT BRAINSTORMING
Getting started is exciting! It's your chance to think about and reflect on your life experiences and how they influence your future. How cool is that? Grab a notebook and a pen or open a new document on your laptop and start your brainstorming. Remember, there is no right or wrong way to do it. Don't worry about your MUG (mechanics, usage, or grammar) at this point. You can make bulleted lists, write sentences, or follow your stream of consciousness. Just WRITE. It's all about becoming inspired to create your essay. Okay, now give the BRAINSTORM BINGO a try so you don't leave your story unwritten. You just might have a winner!
Do you still have writer's block? No problem. Try this writing exercise to get the thoughts flowing.
