AC arc fault detection using artificial intelligence (AI)
● Development of AC arc fault generation & testing platform as per IEC62606 standard
● Designing interfacing and signal conditioning PCB for real-time data collection and testing
● Development of lightweight AI based algorithm to detect real-time arc fault detection & implementation using commercial microcontroller unit
PV reliability and safety enhancement
● Development of PV arc fault generation & testing platform using PV simulator, inverter & arc generator following UL1699B-2018 standard
● Development of AI based lightweight algorithm for PV arc fault detection, & enhancing PV system reliability and safety
● Testing the model with real PV system for performance evaluation

● Development of MATLAB based graphical user interface (GUI) for digital image processing including various spatial and frequency domain image filters, color and pattern filtering & recognition
● Low-resolution face recognition using Eigenface, Fisherface and Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH) methods and contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE)
● Real-time implementation of face recognition algorithm in Raspberry Pi using OpenCV & Python

Developed an android app which is used to capture images of different persons with their names and auto updating the face database of the remote computer using Wi-Fi connection, auto re-training the face recognition algorithm with new database, and auto restarting the face recognition system in the computer
