Short Bio

My full name is [First:] Kamal Chandra [Last:] Paul. The preferred short name is "Kamal". Currently, I am a graduate student at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC) pursuing my Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Power Electronics. I received my Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas State University in 2018. I started my doctoral program at UNCC in August 2019. Prior to that, I attended Khulna University of Engineering & Technology, Bangladesh, from 01/2005 to 03/2009 and completed my B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. Since 2009, I have gathered experience as a researcher, problem-solver, mentor, and instructor. I love to work on challenging problems, learn existing techniques, and find new ones to solve them. I like playing tennis, and badminton. I love traveling, driving, discovering new places, sightseeing, watching movies, and following the latest tech news.
