As an Instructional Designer, I create learning experiences that transform complex information into engaging, performance-driven solutions. I specialize in aligning business goals with learner outcomes through data-informed analysis, curriculum mapping, and purposeful assessment design. My process draws on established methodologies such as ADDIE, SAM, and backward design, paired with adult learning principles and evidence-based learning strategies to ensure every solution is both effective and meaningful.
I’m passionate about designing learner-centered experiences that foster engagement, retention, and real-world application. By integrating scenario-based learning, microlearning, and interactive eLearning design, I aim to bridge the gap between insight and action, helping organizations turn learning into measurable growth.
Before transitioning into instructional design, I spent a decade teaching secondary English Language Arts, where I developed a deep understanding of learner motivation, differentiation, and curriculum development. That experience continues to shape my approach—combining creativity, theory, and strategic thinking to design learning that truly makes an impact.
I completed a comprehensive, project-based certification program through Applied Instructional Design Academy (AIDA)—a rigorous, hands-on program emphasizing the practical application of learning science, design strategy, and eLearning development. View my certification on Credly.
When I’m not designing learning experiences, you’ll find me tending to my garden, canning my homegrown produce, or caring for my small flock of backyard chickens.
