My Eagle Scout Project was a kiosk for the 5th Marine Regiment Memorial Garden located on the north end of Camp Pendleton, CA. I learned a lot about working with military lawyers and gaining approval through the ranks of the regiment, and I really enjoyed every part of the experience. It was an eye opening experience, and I made a lot of new contacts and learned a lot about managing funds and people. The kiosk rests in a memorial garden that has monuments for every major conflict the regiment has been involved in, and is a special place for families to come and reflect. I wanted to inform new visitors about the garden's purpose, and the kiosk accomplished that goal.

The 5th Marine Regiment is the most highly decorated regiment in the Marine Corps. They have been involved in every major conflict since June of 1917, during World War I.
