Thank you to all the playwrights who sent in their work. We know it takes a lot of bravery to put yourself and your work out into the world. We are hoping to see you in some of the playwriting workshops at the festival this February!
ALSO: The Chairs of NPP are delighted to have a broad range of fantastic ten-minute plays to share with the entire region! We will need actors and directors to help us create an evening of readings at the festival!
Auditions for Actors will be held WEDNESDAY MORING from 9:00am – 11:00am. No need to prepare anything and resumes are not required. We will have a questionnaire for auditioners and sides for you to read from. Any and ALL are welcome to audition to perform in the 10-Min Play Showcase slated for early Friday evening!
Potential Directors: Please reach out to Kamarie.chapman@wwu.edu by January15th, 2026. Our goal is to pair playwrights with faculty/graduate student directors, so they get the experience and support of working with directors from different schools. Usually, the time commitment is three hours on Wednesday morning (for auditions and casting), two one hour rehearsals during the festival week, and finally the reading presentation on Friday. This is a wonderful chance to work with students from all over the region and collaborate with burgeoning playwrights!
