Ph. D. Chemistry

M. Sc. Chemistry

Duration: 2 Year Programme

Eligibility: The candidate who has passed B. Sc. Degree (10+2+3 system of education) i.e. B. Sc. (Medical)/ B. Sc. (Non-Medical) or equivalent with Chemistry as one of the subject in six semesters with at least 50% marks in aggregate from GNDU or any other UGC recognized University.

M. Sc. (UHS) Chemistry

Duration: 2 Year Programme

Eligibility: The candidate who has passed B. Sc. (Hons) Chemistry Degree (10+2+3 system of education) from GNDU or any other UGC recognized University.

NOTE: Previous batches will get B. Sc. (Honours) Chemistry after completion of three year of their course and can get further admission in M. Sc. (UHS) Chemistry (2 Years) Programme.

B. Sc. Chemistry-3Years / B.Sc. (Hons) Chemistry With/Without Research-4 Years

Duration:  From 1-5 Years Programme with multiple exit as per NEP-2020

Eligibility: The candidate who has passed 10+2 with science from recognized board or any other examination considered equivalent by GNDU with minimum of 40% marks (Subject to the change).

Remarks:  Undergraduate Certificate Course after completing 1 Year,

             Undergraduate Diploma Course after completing 2 Year,

             B. Sc. Chemistry Degree after completing 3 Year,

                   B. Sc. (Hons) Chemistry/B. Sc. (Hons) Chemistry with Research after completing 4 Year

Post Graduate Diploma in Analytical Chemistry (PGDAC)

Duration: 1 Year Programme

Eligibility: The candidate who has passed B. Sc. Degree (10+2+3 system of education) i.e. B. Sc. (Medical)/ B. Sc. (Non-Medical)/B. Sc. (Honours) or equivalent with Chemistry as one of the subject in four semesters with at least 50% marks in aggregate from GNDU or any other UGC recognized University.

Diploma in Chemical Lab Technician (DCLT)

Duration: 1 Year Programme

Eligibility: The candidate who has passed 10+2 in any stream from recognized board or any other examination considered equivalent by GNDU, Amritsar.

Value Added Courses*

Duration: 30-40 Hours during any semester of the degree

P. G. Department of Chemistry provide five value added courses for students admitted in UG/PG programmes of the college

Ø   Food Adulteration and & Chemical Testing

Ø   Water Quality Analysis

Ø   Basic Principles and Instrumentation of Commonly used Instruments

Ø   Basic Lab Practices and Techniques
