Laser Engraved Drone Registration Stickers

OUR REGISTRATION STICKERS ARE FAA COMPLIANT

Unlike other registration stickers available on the Internet, ours are neither silk screened, printed on flimsy substrate or able to be scratched off in the normal everyday wear and ear use of your drone operation. Nor are they thermally printed on paper labels able to be torn off or obscured while flying your drone in normal or unexpectedly adverse conditions. Our registration ID stickers are laser engraved and made from sturdy black industrial lamacoid material with a white substrate as in the illustration. Each is only .004 inches thick and is self adhesive with 3M™ aggressive adhesive manufactured to withstand the most rigors of the hobby. Each sticker dimension is .374 inches high and 1.42 inches wide and after adhesive protective removal, weighs less than 1/1000th or .001 of an ounce. (8.6mm x 32.76mm x .10mm and .02g) Although light weight, it is NOT flimsy. And they adhere.

Some manufacturers offer ID stickers in sets such as one sticker which displays your phone number, another with your registration number and another with a link to a website for additional information to peruse. We take issue with these methods. We don't feel your drone should be a flying billboard for your sticker supplier. Your personal phone number along with other readily identifiable personal information should not be available for everyone to see while your drone is in operation. Others may have nefarious reasons for "inspecting" your drone along with its myriad placards. We feel our method exceeds the FAA recommended method* of applying your unique identifier to the drone operated by the average hobbyist without the unnecessary extras. 

And why are "the other" stickers sold in quantity? Because in no time at all they will pull off, flake off, tear off, wear off, blow off, scratch off, or fall off. And then what? You need to replace them; even after you've prepped the surface to insure their adhesion.

Our stickers simply display your registration ID number, as mandated by law, and an easily viewable QR code containing the telephone number of your choosing. If you don't as yet have a drone registration number, you can apply for it here. Should your drone be lost, crashed, or left at an unknown location, the QR code can be scanned by any smartphone camera/QR code reader or app, to reveal the phone number and offer an immediate means of contacting you. Yet while enjoying your hobby among others, you won't blatantly advertise your personal phone number to the public. And of course there is the "cool factor."

Each order will provide you with two ( 2 ) Drone Registration Stickers with your phone number contained inside the QR code for $10.00 USD. Additional quantities can be ordered after your stickers are placed into the shopping cart. Simply complete the fields below in the PayPal box and if you are in the United States of America, you should receive your stickers via first class USPS mail within seven business days of your order submission. Shipping is included in the price to anywhere in the United States of America.

For our friends outside the USA, shipping will be an additional two dollars per order calculated and added automatically at checkout. Your stickers will be physically identical to the ones used in the USA, except for the elimination of the "FAA" lettering before the "Registration#" and logically you will have to wait a little longer for delivery. Orders are usually filled and shipped within 24 hours of your order during regular business days.
