Kia ora! I’m Kay Leslie — a bubbly, energetic, and highly capable Learning & Development professional with a genuine passion for turning training into real business results.
With over 20 years’ experience across a wide range of industries — including logistics, manufacturing, security, hospitality, education, warehousing, liquor & wine, publishing, IT, and managed services (recruitment, payroll & IR) — I specialise in designing and delivering practical, engaging training solutions that drive measurable impact.
I excel at building high-impact training academies and leadership programmes from the ground up. Whether it’s creating full Management Development and Future Leaders Programmes, targeted supervisor development programmes (e.g. condensed FLP for Gridhawk Security Site Supervisors to prepare them as Junior Operations Managers), custom eLearning, compliance and IR training modules, or operational skills training, my approach is always hands-on, learner-centred, and focused on clear ROI.
Now based in beautiful New Zealand, I proudly lead L&D remotely for the Cre8work Group in South Africa while running my own remote education and coaching business, Uplift Learning.
