In Synthesis 2, I explored the intersections between climate change and racial justice through an antiracist lens. Working collaboratively in a small group, we researched a specific aspect of the climate crisis, analyzing how environmental issues disproportionately affect marginalized communities. In the second half of the course, we shifted our focus to project design, learning how to develop a proposal grounded in feasibility, impact, and available resources. This course helped me sharpen my research, collaboration, and problem-solving skills while deepening my understanding of the structural inequalities embedded in the climate crisis.
