For my Math Internal Assessment, I explored the question: Does strike rate affect the reliability of a batter in test cricket? Using statistical analysis, I examined performance data from a selection of international test cricket players to determine whether a higher strike rate correlates with greater consistency or reliability at the crease. My investigation involved calculating measures of central tendency and variability, creating scatter plots, and performing correlation analysis to evaluate the strength of the relationship. This project combined my interest in sports with real-world data and mathematical modeling.
