Wells K9 club participated in Wells Farmers Market and had booth. I am one of the K9 leaders and to raise funds to help the dogs is what I love to do. This booth took months of planning to initiate because K9 has over 40 members and is divided into several groups. We all as a team work collaboratively with our own skills to sells food items. I love helping animals and I have showed commitement to this club for serveral years and this isnt the first booth we have had for this club. We have had several events to raise funds for dogs because this issue isnt showed enough importance. There are millions of dogs who are homless or sick and we want to do our best to help them. So we sold dog shaped cookies, self-made french fries, and soft drinks to raise funds for the dogs. We raised over 5000 baht to help these dogs and all the money raised will be donated to CHSA Thai a dog shelter in Thailand who shelter over hundreds of dogs. Till I am one of the leaders of this club we will be hosting events and booths to raise fund because this issue needs more awarence.

Wells K9 club hosted a movie night for young kids and parents. We did this to raise funds for CHSA Thai a dog shelter. Our wonderful club advisor Mr.Chase who has a wonderful dog helped us organize this event. The K9 Club and Mr.Chase showed commitment and initiated a wonderful plan to make this event as successful as possible. We showed the movie UP in the wells playground, projected it with a projector on the wall. The parents and kids enjoyed the movie a lot because there were snacks the K9 club sold. We as team worked collaboratively to make popcorn with various falvours to sell with cookies and soft drinks. We did this event to raise funds for dogs who are in need of our help and CHSA thai who are doing a wonderful job. We raised over 5000 baht and we will dontate all the money to CHSA thai. I hope we could do another even like this because there was a smile on all the kids faces because it was unique experince for them, seeing a movie out in the open.
