Hello, World!
We are a theoretical chemistry research group at NIT Meghalaya, India, working at the interface of molecular physics, quantum chemistry, and materials science. Our research aims to achieve a high-precision understanding and accurate prediction of molecular properties, with a dual focus on advancing fundamental physics and enabling applications in quantum science, spectroscopy, and supramolecular chemistry. A key strength of our group lies in the development of robust quantum chemistry methodologies, coupled with large-scale numerical simulations, to investigate the electronic structure, spectroscopic properties, and chemical behavior of systems involving heavy elements.
We have PhD positions available, motivated students (with valid GATE/NET/INSPIRE Fellowship) interested in theoretical and computational chemistry are highly encouraged to apply.
