How does volunteering make a difference?...

  • Volunteering is one of the most selfless ways to make an impact. Through volunteering, you as an individual can take pride in supporting your community.

  • Being a volunteer helps provide people with a sense of purpose. This can be especially helpful for people struggling in some aspect of their life.

  • Through volunteering, people have improved their social skills and develop team work ethics.

  • At KAEF, volunteering also increases your knowledge and understanding of animals and native Hawaiian plant life.

  • By volunteering, you'r not just improving yourself but the lives around you. Both people and animals are greatly enriched.

  • Staff at KAEF is very limited with a lot to do around the farm. This is why volunteers are highly appreciated and our need for your help invites success for our mission.
