Rooted in ʻĀina. Connected by Community. Empowered by Education.

With the spirit of hoʻopono, our programs provide interaction, stewardship, and education on the relationship between animals, land, and people. That means two things, done as one.

We protect Kauaʻi's native ecosystem: lifelong sanctuary for abandoned and invasive animals that cannot be released into our fragile wetlands, and six years of hands-on stream restoration on our own four acres. And we serve those most at risk, youth, kūpuna, inmates, and families, through hands-on connection to rescued animals and to the ʻāina itself.
