Ducking Warfare is a multiplayer 3rd person shooter about rubber duckies fighting for control over the bathtub. The gameplay is very simple, click to shoot the other ducks, and try to get the most amount of kills!

Built the level and arena in unity 3D with the theme of a bathtub
I designed a poster for the game that we used as the cover art
Helped brainstorm and design gameplay with the team
Modeled and textured assets to be placed in the bathtub and all of the duck characters
Worked with lighting and shaders to achieve a toonish look
To start, I decided to use Unity probuilder. This allowed me to rapidly design a basic bathroom and put the tub as the center. In this case, the tub will be the arena while everything is background design
I then modeled some assets to use for the level blockout and also to give a reference for the modelers to use!
This is the size test with our default duck. The tub will be the arena for the battle and the surrounding assets will look supersized
One of team members created a toon shader for our materials and textures. Here is a quick test using that shader, before passing the scene along to another team member for asset placement
By this point, I had a lot of experience texturing in blender. Since I finished the level, in order to help our artists and finish the ducks in time, I texture painted all the rubber duck models for our game! The duck with the spiny hat is actually designed after one of our programmers, who famously wears that on campus and is also angry (in a funny programmer way).
I also helped model some of the floaties for the tub, as we rushed to get finish for the Jam!
With the addition of the water, floaties, and background assets, our silly toon advanced warfare duck game came together. We also were able to get the multiplayer to work in the end, though it was a bit choppy. We had a lot of fun making this game, even despite the stress of us only being allowed 3 days also during an academic semester!
