I've worked in many roles, including:
Director and Producer
Event and team manager
Story and character development and acting
Grant, story, and script writer
Lighting, sound, touch, scent, and scene designer
Note: Many experiences I designed were for private events which require discretion. Please contact me for more information.
In Spring 2017, I designed and facilitated an undergraduate course at UC Berkeley that introduced twelve students to immersive experience design. Over the course of the semester, students were required to create three experiences for fellow students and one for the general public. Experience design experts from around the Bay Area spoke to the students and the class went on multiple field trips to deepen their understanding of this fascinating field.
The OTHER Show is an immersive underwater adventure that takes place in the magical kingdom of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch! Audiences explore and build a plastic their marine habitat and face fantastical beasts. It's a fun treat for the whole family!
For these immersive events produced by Foma Labs, I led a small team for three performance nights that designed and created an immersive space and series of routines to be performed. These routines included spirit summoning, animatronics, mentalism, and acting. Each routine was an intimate performance for groups of 2-5 that lasted for approximately 10-15 minutes, running continuously throughout each 3-4 hour long show night.

Obfuscia video reel:
This nighttime event led forty participants through a site-specific experience which engaged narrative and community building, leading participants to create works of art and give back to their community. As the co-creator and project manager, I led a group of six volunteers to produce and run this three-hour event.

This was a two-part site-specific adventure that led thirty participants to uncover unknown stories, treasure, and excitement. Each part lasted for two to four hours, and each was located in a specific area of the East Bay. The adventure utilized live performances, environmental clues, custom-designed media, puzzles, and a text bot. I managed a team of five people for both events.
