Merging art, design, & science

I'm an award-winning-artist and consultant who works in the intersection of political psychology, art, and immersive experience design. Growing up in a commercial haunted house and hospital, I quickly developed a fascination with social science and the synthesis of art, design, and science.

In 2015, I moved to the Bay Area in to attend UC Berkeley and became heavily involved in the local immersive design community, creating and running many immersive and educational events. I designed and facilitated the first course in experience and immersive design for undergraduates at UC Berkeley in 2017. The same year, I earned a BA in Political Science and minor in Public Policy, graduating with Distinction.

Finding a passion for performing arts as a child, I began performing professionally in high school, graduating as an honors thespian. I've been privileged to perform with many shows and troupes throughout Northern California, and for small audiences to those in the thousands. Recently, I've had the honor of presenting pieces at the past 3 years of The Body Political, for which I garnered acclaim in local news publications. For each piece presented, I was joined by award-winning Bay Area performers as I took on the roles of creator, director, and performer.

After graduation, I worked in the affordable housing industry, helping vulnerable citizens to find more stable housing until I became ill and took time away from work to focus on my treatment. Now, I'm producing shows, hand-making sequins and art, consulting, and preparing for my next big adventure: grad school.

As a former psychology researcher and tutor, I incorporate psychological principles into my designs and interactions to achieve more effective products. With the larger goal of increasing intergroup and interpersonal connection and compassion, I bring my remarkable creativity, determination, and passion for community-building to every project and interaction
