This work explores my experience of feeling out of place through the surreality of big shoes. Originally created to make people aware of my presence as I 'always snuck up on people,' they took on a life of their own, exploring discomfort through their impracticality, themes of belonging and being welcome in public spaces, as well as the performance aspect of restricted movement.
