Kate's first home was in Guildhall, VT just across the road from the elementary school and just down the road from Peaslee's Potato farm. Her dad drove a propane truck and her mother worked for UVM Extension. Those who follow along in House Education know that she is always mindful of the geography and demographics of the state when forming opinions and making decisions.
As a mother, teacher, and small business owner, Kate exemplifies the values that Vermonters hold most dear, and she has the expertise needed to get the job done! She is honored to have represented the residents of Montpelier in the state legislature over the last four years serving on the House Education Committee.
