Understanding how social behavior impacts investment into internal and external immune response

Similar to other projects, I have been testing the strength of the internal immune response via insertion of a nylon filament into the sternites of bees.

New to this project, I was also able to test the strength of the external immune response in a subset of our collected bees to see whether external molecules on the bee impacts their ability to fend off bacterial infections.
