Know Where to Park

Arrive early to allow time for parking and reaching the Founders Union Building

Use any designated parking areas; those within the green circle are closest to the event space

Get Familiar with the Event Space

1st Floor:

Welcome Desk & Registration Area opens at 8am ET each day - you only need to go to registration once

This is a great place to go to find a KATC Team Member if you have a question or need assistance

Meeting Room 136A will host Breakout Sessions

Meeting Room 136B will host the event's Quiet/Comfort space

If you're feeling "people-d out" or simply need a moment to recharge your mind, stop by and relax for as long as you need

2nd Floor:

Ballroom A is your starting point each day

The Keynote Presentation on Day 1 & the General Session on Day 2 both start promptly at 9am ET

These are can't miss sessions, so arrive early for the best seating!

Ballroom C, Meeting Room 201 & Meeting Room 211 will each host Breakout Sessions

Lower Level:

Meeting Room 14 & Meeting Room 15 will each host Breakout Sessions

Learn More About the Certificate of Attendance

Certificate of Attendance Instructions

Each attendee will receive a folder containing their Certificate of Attendance.

Please follow these steps:

Clearly print your full name on the certificate
Write the title of each session you attend
Optional: Ask the room attendant to initial your form before exiting each session
At the end of the Institute, calculate and note the total number of hours you attended
Retain this completed certificate for your personal records and/or to share with your school district

Information for Attendees from JCPS (Jefferson County Public Schools)

To receive credit for your attendance at the Autism Educator Institute, JCPS Employees must scan the provided QR code and complete the short electronic form each day you attend. The submitted information, including your completion date and timestamp, will be automatically shared with JCPS District staff.

Here are the maximum Professional Development (PD) hours available:

Day 1: 5.75 hours
Day 2: 4.5 hours
