I am an interpreter who strives for full accessibility. I believe the Deaf community deserves the utmost respect, and that being an interpreter is a fulfilling and important role. I also believe that the client comes first.
I continue to broaden my horizons within the community while also pursuing knowledge. This includes attending local Deaf events and staying up to date on ASL.
I know how challenging interpreting can be, and the many ethical dilemmas that may occur in the course of my job. However, I also know that RID’s Code of Professional Conduct can guide my decision making.
Outside of interpreting, I enjoy hiking, reading, and knitting. I am originally from Ellicott City, Maryland, but moved to Salt Lake City in August of 2021.
