Students worked in groups to identify patterns in the geological timeline!
Students were asked to create a geological timeline based on information on the blocks they sorted & draw organisms from this time!
Students organized the blocks into chronological order of major events from geologic timeline.
Owl Pellet Dissection: Students were working to compare fossil organisms with modern organisms by identifying similarities and differences between organisms found in the owl pellets (bone structures, features and functions) with fossilized organisms from millions of years ago. Students documented their observations on their lab sheets and separated organism skeletal features & functions!
