I grew up in a suburb north of Mumbai in a small, close-knit community. As a first-generation learner, I have always been passionate about addressing systemic inequality and bridging gaps in access to education and information for youth from underserved communities.
I hold a Masters in International Education Policy from Harvard University. Throughout my career, I have primarily focused on education, youth, and skills-related projects, with expertise in program management, research, policies, and learning design.
At Learning Equality, I spearheaded the integration of Kolibri, an offline-first teaching and learning platform, with innovative pedagogical practices worldwide. I managed the development of training plans for multiple implementation partners, analyzed user feedback for product improvements, and authored comprehensive materials for the widely adopted Kolibri Edtech Toolkit, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for global users.
I also had the opportunity to lead UNICEF's youth empowerment platform, Generation Unlimited, in India. I focused on creating opportunities for skill development and flexible learning options. Additionally, I played a key role in leading a tech-innovation campaign aimed at promoting COVID-appropriate behaviors in India.
I recently took on a project, developing a comprehensive 500+ page training manual for Saudi Arabia's Tourism Ministry in collaboration with the World Bank. My work involved promoting evidence-based pedagogy practices to boost workforce development and tourism growth.
My background as an educator and facilitator has provided me valuable insights from the grassroots. I have taught in a public school and managed capacity building for 300+ teachers in low-income private schools across India.
I am also skilled in using tools like STATA and Python to derive meaningful insights and support data-driven decision-making.
