Plan and Materials

As our middle school navigated the uncertainties brought forth by the COVID-19 pandemic, I made an effort to provide technology professional development for my teachers who were struggling with adapting their lessons to a fully online environment. Technology webinars were tailored to skill-level, preferred day of the week, and topic of choice which were determined by pre-surveys. My aim was to provide individualized and differentiated workshops to help teachers who were at all levels of technology integration feel empowered. The artifacts below demonstrate an example of the materials each Lunch and Learn opportunity provided. This included an outgoing flyer sent via electronic means, a live and recorded webinar which was posted on Google Classroom, Microsoft Stream, and YouTube. Lastly, a digital badge was offered to attendees which helped them meet the artifact components of their technology competency categories on their summative evaluations.
