Audience: Participants of the Wheat Belly 10-Day Grain Detox Group
Problem: The creator of this course wanted a better system to keep track of the information the participants were receiving and that they were understanding the concepts.
Solution: I created this introduction video for her participants to watch to help them gain a better understanding of the group and what they will be doing in the group. The goal is to have at least 50% of the participants watch the videos and complete the quizzes.
Highlights: Audio, voice over narration, vivid photographs, avatars, hyperlinks, triggers, variables, animations
Process: First, I met with the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to gain more information. Then I analyzed the problem and needs and came up with learning objectives. I was then able to make the design document. From there, I developed the course and then could implement the course to the learners.

Audience: Hospital volunteer workers
Problem: There was a recent patient satisfaction survey and results were lower than expected in the area of hospital volunteer workers. Patients complained that the volunteer workers were not very friendly and were not very educated in how to use a wheelchair. Due to this, the hospital has seen a decrease in patients, which has resulted in a 10% loss of income for the hospital.
Solution: Hospital volunteer workers need to be properly trained on how to interact with patients and how to safely use a wheelchair when transporting patients. The goal of this training is to assist new hospital volunteer workers on how to properly greet a patient who needs a hospital wheelchair, follow the steps to get a patient safely in and out of a wheelchair and follow the steps to safely transport patients in a wheelchair to increase patient satisfaction by 25%.

I was then able to design the course content and made the design document and storyboard. From there, I developed the course and then could implement the course to the learners. When thinking of evaluating the learner's success with the course, I referenced back to Kirkpatrick's Model of Evaluation Level 2 & 3 (Learning & Behavior).
