Walking trails to Kamienczyk waterfall

The walking trip from Szklarska Poręba to Kamieńczyk Waterfall takes at least two hours annd is a bit strenuous, but extremely pleasant.

You can reach the Kamieńczyk Waterfall in two ways. From the car park near Szosa Czeska (the road towards the border town of Jakuszyce) - the red trail leads to the destination. When you choose this option, it will take you approximately 30 minutes to get to the waterfall. The second option is the black trail leading from the center of Szklarska Poręba through the Ski Arena Szrenica facility. If you leave your car in the car park under the ski lift, you will reach the Waterfall after 43 minutes of leisure  walk. If you set off from the center of Szklarska Poręba, add an additional 20 minutes. The black trail connects to the red trail after 30 minutes and the last ascent takes place only on the red trail.

The initial part of the trip is very easy, the terrain here is mild, rather flat. Only at the end you have to to cross a large hill lined with stones. Along the way you will encounter souvenir stalls and many tourists who also start their trips to Karkonosze here. At the waterfall there is a shelter "Kamieńczyk" and a hut "Sielanka".

The waterfall can be admired both from above and below. From above, you can clearly see its enormity and how the water pounding falling through three cascades and then from a height of 27 meters falls into the abyss, directly into the five-meter Evorsian cauldron. You can alson go down to the Kamieńczyk canyon after paying a small fee and putting on a plastic helmet to protect against stones falling off the slope. At the very bottom, in the summer, you can meet the Saint Bernard dog waiting for tourists willing to take a picture with him.
