Kamiak starts the season with a 0-1 loss against Meadowdale. Despite the loss, the game was very close, and the results could've gone either way between the two teams. In the end, Meadowdale scored the last touchdown, with a field goal coming out on top. Closing the game 19-22.

 Despite the loss, some Kamiak players made a statement with their performance on the field on that very night. Sophomore Jayden Harris had 16 carries for 88 yards and a touchdown with 3 receptions for 67 yards. Very impressive coming from the underclassman. 

Another player who stepped up was Sophomore Lucas Burd, who returned a punt for a touchdown.
