As someone who has never touched Adobe a day in their life learnt a lot of simple things about Photoshop, especially how effective knowing CMYK, RGB, and grayscale means when photo editing. Here are a few projects:
MY ORIGINAL PHOTO
MY K ONLY VERSION
MY MULTICHANNEL VERSION
For this assignment we were taught the basics of changing the scenery of an image by not only changing the image from its original color to black and white but we were also taught how to get the colors we really wanted using TRUMATCH.
Another fundamental skill I learned was how to smooth the green outlines you may have left when properly doing a green screen project but I would say this may only work for very simple projects that would require changing the image mode to k only:
This is what was left of the image after i had gotten rid of majority of the green screen background and because the image was already in black and white I could just change the image to k only for a smoother look but as I stated earlier this can only work for very specific scenario like this one
Although the color in the eyes changed this is what it looked like after changing to grayscale mode I could simple recolor the eyes back to the blue it originally was.
