Discovery Foundation is a safe haven, that truly is my philosophy on how this world should be. I don't like going to places where I feel awkward, uncomfortable, or scared. Therefore, those are the last feelings I want your child to feel in my childcare center. Any time your child has a question, I promise that I will respect their concerns, acknowledge their questions, and then answer the questions that they have. I love taking care of children and I will not let my center be anything other than a safe haven for them to discover the world around them and grow naturally. I believe all children and all people have a natural desire to learn, become better, and grow. At Discovery Foundation for Learning, we fiercely defend your child's natural growth.
Hi, I am Kaitlin Cazier. I am a wife, mother, and teacher. I love the outdoors and having fun. Some of the many fun activities I enjoy are swimming, teaching the alphabet, going on pirate treasure hunts, becoming fairies, singing songs, going to museums, reading books, face painting, coloring, and much more. I am passionate about teaching children and letting their imaginations run wild. I will never tell a child that they have to paint inside the lines because metaphorically I do not consider myself one to paint inside the lines. I love life and I want children to learn to love life too. I want all my students to know how much I care about them and love them. I fiercely defend children's natural growth. In this day and age, people try to force kids to be great at math and to read by the time they are 3 years old, but that isn't reaping any rewards for the children as they grow up. The evidence points to play-based learning, child led learning, and teaching the children using what they are interested in, which means really getting to know the kids. At Discovery Foundation for Learning we learn what type of seed each child is and then we help them bloom into their own beautiful plant.
