Retelling a classic story of love and loss, Swell Season is a short dance video inspired by the writing of Josef Škvorecký. Directed and produced by Kailey Carruthers, featuring choreography by Vancouver-based dancers Kylah Powell and Brett Owen, and original music by Id Guinness.

The advertisement was banned from running on CBC and came under fire from Canadian tobacco lobbyists.
