Welcome to the website for the K3@MIT Gathering.
This event will provide a structured forum for about 40 PhD students and early-career mathematicians to work together on problems on the recently released K3 problem list in low-dimensional topology, with the dual goals of centering the human element of group problem-solving in mathematics and of allowing young topologists to learn about the beautiful open problems which have driven research in the field. It will run from Friday, October 9th - Monday, October 12th at MIT.
On the following schedule, the location 2-X corresponds to room X of MIT Building 2, while the location SC-X corresponds to room X of the Harvard Science Center. Note for locals: we will not be running on MIT Time.
