I'm a 4th year graduate student at Harvard University, studying under Peter Kronheimer. Before that, I was an undergraduate student at Princeton University.
My research interests are in gauge theory, differential geometry, complex geometry, and low-dimensional topology. Specifically, I think about differential-geometric moduli spaces: of solutions to variants of the Seiberg-Witten equations, of metrics with special holonomy, character varieties, Brill-Noether loci, et cetera. I do not consult AI in my mathematical research. For, I derive unquantifiable fulfillment from the process of doing mathematics, from struggling, getting stuck, occasional tedium, since out of these spring forth artistry, beauty, and greater understanding. I believe deeply in the value of this understanding, serendipitous discovery, and careful thinking. Moreover, AI threatens the integrity of mathematics as a human endeavor, undermining our systems of credit and reducing the amount and depth of thinking.
