You can change your Default font in Google docs by following these steps:
1) Open a document and select your favorite font
2) Click the drop-down box and make sure the Style is set to “Normal Text,” as well. This refers to the main text style (excluding titles or headings) used throughout your document.
3) From the Style menu again, choose Save as my default Styles

You can send a link to a person or group, the user clicks on it to receive a download of a PDF. If you make changes to that file, those that have the link can click on it again and download a new version as a PDF without you sending another file to them. This is a time saver because the PDF Link will remain the same and you can continue to work on the file or update the file without having to resend it as a PDF every time.
When in your file:
Click Share
Choose Copy Link
Before you paste the link and forward it, change the end of the URL Before sending your link
After the forward slash, add the formula export?format=pdf
For example:
Before: http://docs.google.com/document/d/1a2b3c4d/edit?usp=sharing
After: http://docs.google.com/document/d/1a2b3c4d/export?format=pdf
In this example, I have copied the link to this file https://docs.google.com/document/d/1E3gQ3kfJaJd8Za-Zt2IB-LE5hfEd4vwYaVs39SnGKUM/edit?usp=sharing
if I change the last part of the file name edit?usp=sharing to export?format=pdf and then send my link it downloads as a PDF https://docs.google.com/document/d/1E3gQ3kfJaJd8Za-Zt2IB-LE5hfEd4vwYaVs39SnGKUM/export?format=pdf
