Do you work with several tabs open in Chrome? A shortcut to open a new tab in Google Chrome is CTRL+T.
Use this tip to toggle between your open tabs; Toggle quickly between them by using Ctrl + Tab - This will switch to the tab to the right. Try it out!
The Bookmarks bar contains all of your bookmarks saved in Google Chrome. It also appears on every web page you open. You can add/remove and arrange bookmarks at any time. It is located directly beneath the address bar (Omni box). It may be hidden so while in Chrome- at the top right on the 'snowman' (see image on the right) Click Bookmarks > Show Bookmarks Bar
If you are into keyboard shortcuts- Ctrl+Shft+b also shows and hides the bookmark bar.
Did you accidentally close a Tab?
Re open it with Ctrl Shift T
The omni bar in Google is the white bar across the top- where you would type in a website.
You can type questions in here such as
What is the Weather in Bristol CT
or
Timer for a quick timer to use within Chrome
or
What is 1/2 cup in ounces
Did you know that you can customize your Chrome with a theme? This may come in handy if you have more than one account (ex: work Chrome vs Personal Chrome)
Go to settings and under the Appearance section select Themes
Clicking on change colors will bring you to the chrome store
