How To Get Amazon Affiliation 

In order to get Amazon affiliation, all you need to do is to visit the Amazon Associates main website & you signup as an affiliate.

You’ll be given a signup form, which you’ll need to complete.

Simply provide your details, then you submit your application to the Amazon Associates Central.

Once done, you’ll have to wait for few days, since your application will be processed during this phase.

You’ll then receive an email notification – informing you whether your application has been accepted or not.

If you get approved, then great!

Login to your affiliate dashboard & start promoting your links.

However, if your application gets rejected, simply work on addressing the highlighted issues then you re-apply again.

It’s that simple!

Is It Free To Be An Amazon Affiliate? 

Becoming an Amazon affiliate is 100% free as you don’t need to pay a joining fee.

Unlike other affiliate programs, which requires you to be a paying customer of the products/services, Amazon is different.

Anyone is free to apply to Amazon Associates, and it doesn’t cost any money to become part of this network.

However, I do have to mention that, it’s very important to first buy & use the products before you promote them, so that you can promote something that you truly know and stand for.

Is It Worth It To Be An Amazon Affiliate?

Being an Amazon affiliate is worth it if you’re passionate about promoting products/services that you already use, as those products will most likely be available on Amazon.

Thus, you’ll get paid for referring people to products/services that you already use, as you’ll be simply directing leads through a simple affiliate link.

However, I do have to mention that Amazon pays very little commissions (usually between 1%-10%).

This might not sound lucrative to people who’re looking to make big money, since these rates are very low.

So this is something which you might need to take into consideration before becoming an affiliate for Amazon.

Amazon doesn’t necessarily ask for a certain number of followers or subscribers.

So anyone can become an affiliate for this company – regardless of their follower count.

Does Amazon Affiliates Pay Per Click?

Amazon Associates only uses pay per sale & pay per lead models.

Meaning, you’ll get paid for sales generated via your affiliate links, which is quite common with most affiliate programs.

Alternatively, you can get paid for leads i.e. for services like Audible, Amazon Prime, Kindle, etc. – and the pay-out is usually around 100 bucks (bounty fees).

What Does An Amazon Associate Do?

An Amazon Associate is responsible for driving traffic to Amazon, through recommending products & services to various people.

In other terms, he/she is responsible for ‘advertising’ products & services on behalf of Amazon – thus, helping to generate leads and sales for the company.
