in this page, i have a few examples of my 3D modelling work from college, particularly for my video game project. while i am still relatively new to 3D modelling, it being a skill that i am working towards more experience in, i am relatively happy with the work i had done, and apparently so was my college.
during my digital media course in college, i was tasked with creating a video game project. one of the main two elements i had to model was, of course, the game environment. there was initially a much inferior version of this same concept i had created, however because i was dissatisfied, i recreated it.
i created a level based on a steampunk/fantasy city environment from the progenitor to the world within my current project. most of the environment is made up of a handful of prefab buildings and props (IE lamp posts, trash cans etc). i opted out of incorporating textures and instead chose solid colours to go for a more cartoon-like appearance rather than gritty or realistic.
during my digital media course in college, i was tasked with creating a video game project. the other main element i had to model was a character/enemy model. likewise to the environment, i had initially created an inferior version of the model, however remade it afterwards.
here i created a model of an enforcer, essentially a military soldier in my world, which function as the enemy of the game. i based the model off-of a 2D blueprint (both front and side perspectives) that was itself based off-of initial sketches of the design. while the actual textures are much more simplified than i would like, the character model still fits within the world i created previously.
here are just a collection of a few miscellaneous models i created either as additional props for the college project or as blender practice (because of that, these may be of a lower quality than the other models).
